Jo Wood

The Revd Jo Wood

Team Rector (designate)

Jo is a Midlander originally coming from Tamworth in Staffordshire.  She studied History and Politics at university in Derby before a 15 year career in the banking industry in Birmingham.

She became a Christian on an Alpha Course in 2005 and never looked back. Jo was ordained deacon in 2017 and priest in 2018 in the Diocese of Lichfield and trained for ordained ministry at The Queens Foundation in Birmingham.  She served two curacies, firstly in the Peel Parishes in Tamworth and secondly in the Brereton, Rugeley and Armitage Team Ministry.

Jo and her family moved to Norfolk in Summer 2021 to take up her first post and they love it here - the Broads, the beaches, the countryside, the churches, and the people.

Jo is married to Andy, they have one daughter Grace, and they a Golden Retriever called Poppy.  Jo is a bit of a Royal Family geek, enjoys history, socialising, and partaking in the odd glass of gin and assorted fizz!
